the Convention and did put out some of the older cards. Total cash received was $55
given to our Treasurer for the next Relay For Life in 2011. Before National Conventions,
we should draft and mail a letter to the National Board requesting a table to display -
sell Junior projects.
At the meeting of all the Junior leaders chaired by National Vice-President, Margaret
Hennessy the Juniors passed a proposal requesting the National Board to pay for the
cost of “striking” the new Junior Logo medal. The new medals will be available through
the Ladies Ancient Order Of Hibernians, Inc. National Jewelry Chairperson. I spoke with
her, Mary Ellen Pelletier, at the convention. E-mail contact DPRaider@aol.com. Checks
are made out to “LAOH National Board” and mailed to her at: 66 Amherst Street,
Lawrence, MA. 01843. The Ribbons for the Junior medals is to be light blue. Juniors
may decide if they want medals, a sash, or a patch to designate membership and can
design their own.
The National Hibernian of 2010-2012 is Katlin Armstrong of Our Lady of Knock Division,
South Carolina. The Vice-president sent the nominations to 5 Judges from States that
did not have a Junior Hibernian nomination. Rachel Kepley received honorable mention
gift and certificate.
The Junior Leaders from Pennsylvania plan to invite representatives of nearby Junior
Divisions to their next Junior Convention per Dot Crowley, coordinator. She also read
a Junior Prayer composed by another Pa. Leader that will be shared with all Junior Divisions.
The National Board confirmed that all Junior Divisions exist under their local LAOH

Fundraising expenses, and total fundraising money raised and donated to other causes,
Sent per capita tax, mission dues sent and year ending December 31st balance.
The National Board asks LAOH Divisions to appoint a reliable coordinator who will pass
on all information. The LAOH Division Vice-President should be actively involved in
meetings and Junior projects. All Junior news worthy information should be forwarded
to the National and State Webmasters and sent to the National Vice President. The
new National Vice President is Maureen Shelton, 14156 South Dixie, Monroe, MI 48161.
